Terrestrial Network Solutions
Segovia's Terrestrial Network Solutions leverage redundant, high-capacity optical circuits, connecting our teleport facilities to geographically dispersed network centers. Our terrestrial network infrastructure enables rapid deployment of end-to-end managed services, and the any-to-any nature of MPLS technology reduces the number of hops between network points, expediting response time and improving application performance.
In addition to operating secure, terrestrial networks for government customers, Segovia has made a strategic investment in a high-capacity, private Multi-Protocol Label Switched (MPLS) backbone – a key asset that delivers unmatched flexibility, security and service levels, with high-capacity throughput into customer Points of Presence (PoPs) anywhere in the world.
Quality of Service (QoS) levels within the backbone that extend to customer PoPs allow IP traffic to be prioritized based on application requirements. In the event of an overloaded terrestrial circuit or circuit failure, our redundant network center infrastructure will seamlessly reroute and rebalance traffic to alternate PoPs, virtually eliminating network outages – a key benefit not available from other network providers who simply connect from Teleport to PoP. This feature set also guarantees end-to-end service delivery across the Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) and satellite links.
